Adrian Dongus

Menstrual Hygiene Markets Specialist

Adrian brings extensive experience in market based approaches and Menstrual Health and Hygiene (MHH) to the team at SHF. He has fulfilled a senior leadership position in a leading menstrual product company and led UN wide efforts to mainstream MHH. This resulted in expanding the availability of reusable menstrual products to millions of women across sub-Saharan Africa, co-authoring the world's first national MHH policy, developing a thorough understanding of challenges for market entry of menstrual product innovations and fulfilling a key role in the development of national, regional and global product standards and UN specifications.

Adrian leverages a diverse set of skills and experiences from corporate, consulting and entrepreneurial roles, with a strong focus on market development, innovation and scaling. These include a senior advisory role to Google's Start-ups for Sustainable Development Program (SFSD) program, the company's flagship program to support and scale start-ups working to tackle the SDGs; founder of a machine learning and community driven data initiative targeting COVID-19 in LMICs; and executive advisor to leading impact scale-ups. He will apply his insights to SHFs work and together with the team execute our ambitious action plan to drive systemic change in the menstrual hygiene market place.

Aline Sylvie Pawele

Country Fund Portfolio Manager

Aline works with the SHF Country Fund Portfolio team to advise and guide our financing strategy across our activities and projects in country. 
 

Aline joins the SHF with nearly two decades of experience in global health and international development, having worked in various organizations including the Global Fund, German Development Cooperation, WHO, UNAIDS, USAID, UN Women, UNFPA, and Oxfam GB. She has worked and led on supporting programs and policy implementation at local, national, and global levels.  

 

Originally from Rwanda and Togo, Aline holds a Master of Science in Project Management and speaks multiple languages including Kinyarwanda, English, French, and recently Kiswahili. She is excited to be a part of the SHF, an organisation where disruptive leadership is practiced, and boldness displayed, and hopes to contribute to a cleaner, safer and healthier environment, and future for all.

Anna Konate

Senior Manager, Operations

As the Operation Senior Manager, Anna is in charge of driving a cost-effective business model for the SHF alongside shaping a ‘value for money’ culture. 

Her areas of expertise include extensive experience in local economic development, working with international development institutions and programme management, and the ability to improve relationships with stakeholders and the socio-economic development of host communities with specific reference to African countries.

Anna strongly believes that women and young girls are essential stakeholders for the eradication of poverty, promotion of goodness, values and human rights at large and is eager to contribute to the important work SHF is doing to improve access to sanitation, hygiene and menstrual health and hygiene.

Anna Konaté holds an Msc in Social Business and Entrepreneurship from London School of Economics-LSE after a Master’s degree from HEC Rabat.

Anton Jantunen

Country Fund Portfolio Specialist

Anton's role within the SHF Country Fund Portfolio team is to source, structure, execute and manage SHF's investments and projects locally in the target geographies.

Prior to joining SHF, Anton worked for a decade in the private sector in Europe and Africa. His most recent role was the Chief Financial Officer of Kasha - an African technology company focusing on women’s health. Prior to Kasha, he worked as an equity investor executing investments in early and growth stage companies, and corporate finance advisor, advising entrepreneurs and corporates with fundraisings, acquisitions and divestments.

Anton holds a MSc in Economics and Business Administration (finance major) from Aalto University School of Business. He firmly believes that the status quo of access to safely-managed sanitation is on an alarming level, heavily impacting gender equality as it is related to menstrual health and hygiene, and is determined to address these challenges with new innovative methods and solutions that are supported by the SHF.

Elinor Tan 2

Elinor Tan

Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist

Elinor is SHF's Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Specialist. Hailing from Manila, Elinor has extensive experience in programme and M&E in humanitarian and development contexts, including with various UN agencies such as WFP, UNFPA, UNESCO, UNFPA, ITC UNCTAD/WTO and ILO. Elinor has worked in programmes in Asia, Africa and Europe and is particularly passionate about using her skills and knowledge to contribute to women's empowerment.

Prior to joining SHF, Elinor was the Head of M&E/ Complaints and Feedback Mechanism Unit in WFP-Chad, the agency's biggest operation in the West/Central Africa region.

Elinor holds a BA in International Relations - BSC Advertising Management (DLSU Manila), a Masters in International Relations (University of Strasbourg/Government of France scholarship) and an Evaluation training (University of Antwerp/Government of Belgium scholarship).

Jacob Said

Governance Officer

Jacob has been serving the UN across the development, humanitarian and peacebuilding fields for over a decade, including UNDP, UNRWA and the UN Secretariat through its Special Political Mission in Guinea-Bissau.

Working closely with our Board, Jacob ensures that the SHF governance frameworks are robust, fully functional, and contributing towards the achievement of SHF’s mission, in compliance with our corporate policies.

As a Chevening scholar, Jacob holds a MSc in International Development from The University of Edinburgh.

Ludivine Le Moigne

Administrative Assistant

Ludivine joined the SHF team in January 2022 to support on the ED and DED office on administrative issues. 

With an educational background in travel management, Ludivine has been working for more than 20 years in the private and international sector. She joined UNOPS in July 2019 as a Travel Manager, and worked in collaboration with multiple organisations.


Before joining UNOPS, Ludivine worked for the French Foreign Affairs Ministry and OECD's travel agencies in Paris. 

Originally from France, Ludivine arrived in Geneva in 2009, and began her journey as a supervisor of the travel agencies for UNOG, WIPO, UNHCR, WMO and UNICEF for more than 10 years.


Ludivine speaks French and English. She loves art, dance and music, but really found her peace as a mother. As she brings up her daughter, she is keen to do her part in supporting the world's most vulnerable, especially women and girls, gain access to life-changing services and opportunities.

Rucha Naware

Communications Specialist

Rucha Naware leads on communications for the SHF. Working in communications on humanitarian and development issues for 15 years across NGOs and the UN, Rucha is passionate about building compelling narratives to engage different audiences.

At the SHF, Rucha draws upon her experience with WWF, the UN World Food Programme and CRY - Child Rights & You to lead audience-focused media and digital efforts to mobilize awareness, action and impact on the global sanitation, hygiene and menstrual health crisis. 

Originally from India, Rucha has a Master’s Degree in International Relations from Sciences Po, Paris and has lived and worked across India, France, Singapore and Belgium.
