Financial and Results Reporting

We are committed to rigour and transparency in all we do.

SHF is a part of UNOPS and is subject to the internal and external auditing procedures laid down in UNOPS and regulated by the Executive Board. The audit of SHF country engagement is carried out by independent audit firms. Audit reports are presented to the SHF Board and published on the UNOPS website.

Country fiduciary and programmatic oversight is also ensured through the Fund’s government-led in-country programme coordination mechanisms. We have in place independent country monitoring agents to verify primary recipient financial and programmatic results and reporting. In addition, annual in-country external audits and regular independent outcome surveys and evaluations verify country reporting including the long term sustainability of results.
