Annual Reports

The Sanitation & Hygiene Fund is the only UN fund dedicated to Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) Target 6.2, sanitation, hygiene and menstrual health.

Our aim is to multiply and accelerate the combined effort of everyone so that capital flows are far reaching, inclusive and sustainable. Read our annual reports to discover how pioneering approaches like Next Generation Sanitation and Capital M are transforming sanitation economies and the menstrual health market worldwide.

With the support of our donors - the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Switzerland and the Gates Foundation - and all our partners, in 2024, we have helped deliver access to safely managed sanitation to more than 600,000 people in Kenya and Uganda and provided financing to almost 70 SMEs in the region. Our efforts are poised for further growth as countries focus on driving ownership and delivery on their sustainable development agendas and SHF is increasingly seen as a partner of choice to deliver catalytic impact for people, economies and the environment.
